It's hard to agree or disagree because when something good happens they criticize and when something bad happens they report , they sometimes earn money with the misery of other people

  • Now, the incidents can be both bad or good, and the journalists will cover the both the news.
  • So, yes by showing us the misery of the people who are victim of a bad incident, they get money.
  • But, they are not responsible for the misery and they are also not dependent on the bad news only. A news is only a substance of journalism to them, and they are just obeying their journalism duty towards our society.
