Sher Singh bahadur was sher Singh's father. He was basically a farmer by occupation, but he is more famous as a shikari(hunter). He lives in ladwani village, grazing his cattle & tilling his bit of land. However, his simple life is occasionally marked by adventure. Whenever there is a shooting or photographic expedition in the jungle , people always sent for sher Singh bahadur as he was well acquainted with that. He was a brave man. The title BAHADUR has been added to his name because of his deeds of courage.he haa a thorough knowledge of the jungle around his village. He was familiar with the sounds of animals and birds and really proved an asset on hunting or shooting missions. Bahadur doesn't seemed as the head of ahousehold . Most of the time he is away on hunting or shooting trips, seeking adventure when his presence is expected at home. Sher Singh bahadur doesn't nt physically appear anywhere in the story. However, we know that his son sher Singh looks up to him, & the boy's bravery perhaps speaks of the degree of courage his father must have possessed
