Joyita was studying chapter of chemical reactions. She was trying to recollect the
concept of valency and valence electrons. She also remembered valency exhibited by
an element is important in order to study chemical formulae. She started making a
list of valency for different element. She wants to write down the valency possible
for an element X which has 2 electrons in its outermost shell. Help her to write down
the valency exhibited by element X with proper justification.
