Given expression :

x²+3x-18

To Fill : The given blanks.

Solution :

Let's spilt the middle term :

Multiply : -18x² ; Sum : 3x

So the term in middle will spilt in to : 6x & -3x

x² + 6 x - 3 x -18

= x(x+6) -3(x+6)

= (x+6)(x-3)

The required fill ups are :

(x+6)(x-3)
