Let R1 = 1 ohm and R2 = 100ohms
Since they are connected in parallel
Total resistance (R) = R1*R2/R1+R2 (1/R =1/R1 + 1/R2
=R1+R2/R1*R2,therfore R = R1*R2/R1+R2)
R = 1*100/1+100= 100/101 = 0.99 ohms
