It is very important to use natural resources judiciously so that they can be used for a sustainable development. We must conserve the natural resources as they are the chief sources of our day-to-day needs.

We should conserve them because they are not endless. If the natural resources are wasted or abused, very soon we may be left with small quantities of food and other supplies.

Along with it, we may also be at a risk. One of the examples of it is that when illegal tree-fellers cut trees recklessly, water may not be absorbed as well by the trees.

It can result in mudslides and that can put the lives of people living on the mountainside at a great risk.

Similarly, polluting river water can have a drastic effect on our health and in the long term, we may not be able to get pure supply of water easily.
