Solution :-

Let the cost price of the washing machine be x

Total loss = 10% of CP

${\sf{=\: {\dfrac{x}{10}}}}$

In case of a loss ;

Selling price = CP - Loss

${\sf{=\: x\: -\: {\dfrac{x}{10}}}}$

${\sf{=\: {\dfrac{10x\: -\: x}{10}}}}$

${\sf{=\: {\dfrac{9x}{10}}}}$

But also given that, SP = 27,000

Therefore,

According to question,

${\sf{{\dfrac{9x}{10}}\: =\: 27000}}$

${\sf{x\: =\: {\dfrac{27000\: \times\: 10}{9}}}}$
