Bile juice has no enzymes.

Bile juice contains :

  • bile pigments like bilirubin, biliverdin which are formed due to haemoglobin catabolism.
  • bile salts Ike Sodium bicarbonates, sodium taurocholate, sodium glycocholate which help in emulsification of large fat droplets into small globules.
  • cholesterol
  • phospholipid
  • BUT NO ENZYMES.

However it activates LIPASES.
