The blue litmus will convert to red.

  • Lemon juice is acidic. It has a moderate acidic character.
  • When juice prepared from the lemon is taken in a glass tumbler and water is added to it the solution becomes acidic.
  • Now if we add red and blue litmus paper to the solution the blue litmus will convert to red litmus but the red litmus will not show any colour change.
