Option A. 1.7*10^2 joules

The formula for kinetic energy is (mv^2)/2

Here m is 30kg.

v is 3.4m/s

Therefore Kinetic energy =(30*3.4*3.4)/2

=173.40 joules or 1.7*10^2 joules
