Answer:

I agree that Brutus's speech was very convincing and persuasive but not more than Antony's!

Explanation:

Brutus did use persuasive devices but in a straight forward manner which was also clever of him as he was a blunt and straight forward person. People actually get persuaded by a straight forward talk too but get much  more persuaded with an indirectly message giving speech like the one which Antony gave. Antony overcame almost every point Brutus had Quoted in his speech. As he agreed with Brutus that he was not going to speak ill about the conspirators he kept that in mind and showed in his speech that he did not mean what he said but he meant the opposite of it...but how?? Yes! you are right. He used verbal irony which can be called surcasm, the tone in which he delivered the speech was a sarcastic tone and this convinced the audience what he was telling as they understood that he was trying to give the opposite message. Antony used repetition, of the word honourable men', which was looking like the main focus of the speech. During this when he said ,"yet they are Honourable men" he used a sarcastic tone mainly. So he wanted to convince the audience that they are not honourable men for killing Caesar.
