Step-by-step explanation:

2) Let the no. be x

B/P 2(x-3) = x+4

or, 2x - 6 = x+ 4

or, 2x - x = 4+6

or, x= 10

therefore the no. is 4 ( ans)

3) Area of a rectangle = length * width

= (x+5) *(2x+7) cm²

= 2x² + 7x + 10x + 35 cm²

= 2x² + 17x + 35 cm² ( ans)

4) Area of a square = side * side

= (4x-7) (4x-7)

= 16x² - 28x - 28x + 49

= 16x² - 56x + 49 (ans)
