Acceleration = velocity change ÷ time in which velocity change takes place

acc = (15-10)km/h ÷6 sec

= 5 km/h ÷ 6 sec

= 5 *5/18 m/s ÷ 6 sec

= 25÷108 m/s^2

= 0.231 m/s^2

Intital velocity =10km/hr

=10*5/18

=25/9

=2.77.. m/s(approx)

Final velocity=15km/hr

=15*5/18

=25/6

=4.16..m/s (approx)

Time=6s

Acceleration=(v-u)/t

=(4.16-2.77)/6

=1.39/6

=0.23 m/s^2

Therefore the acceleration is 0.23 m/s^2
