Do brits now feel guilty for what their ancestors have done?what history is taught to their young gen? (eg. cruel ad inhumane civilization)

history makes us feel ...how to be the best but not to spread their own fault towards their families.... although those ancestors are guilty but Brits have done nothing illegal
