Everyone in this country wants their own history to be im golden words. Tamilians want Tamil to be considered National Language, Maharashtrians wants Marathi and so on. Nobody seems to notice even if Hindi is national language, that does not affect you language by any kind. You will still speak and yoir children too and so will all the people originating from your state. When I was in Mumbai sitting with 4 Mumbaikars, they would always and always talk in Marathi. WTH dude!! and then they will translate it to me. Then why to speak at all in my presence. One boy would say, “Marathi seekh le”. Is this united?
ST people want their own quota even if they are earning 1 lakh per month. Same goes with SC but General can’t have even if he is earning 20k per month. We all are divided here. So many quotas that General category will be in minority if one more quota is applied.
I don’t even want to write on religion. There is no point.
Geographical Location is also dividing us now. I am considered a North Indian when I wear T-Shirt in Mumbai in January. My friend is considered South Indian if he loves idli and eats it daily. Some North-Eastern and some Gujarati dudes who eat sweet in dinner. It’s okay to say like this but it’s not okay to judge like this. If a person is Gujarati why is he always assumed to be a miser? That separates people.
We are a country with many countries within.
We don’t stand united. We stand divided still in 2018.
