Answer:

(a) let the event be getting a double 6

no: of possibile outcomes = 1

total no: of favourable outcomes = 36

P(E) = no: of possible outcomes/ total no: of favourable outcomes

= 1/36

therefore the probability of getting a double 6 = 1/36

(b) let the event be getting a double 3

no: of possible outcomes = 1

total no: of favourable outcomes = 36

P(E) = no: of possible outcomes/ total no: of favourable outcomes

= 1/36

therefore the probability of getting a double 3 = 1/36

(c) let the event be getting a 5 on one and 6 on the other dice

no: of possible outcomes = 2

total no: of favourable outcomes = 36

P(E) = no: of possible outcomes/ total no: of favourable outcomes

= 2/36 = 1/18

therefore the probability of getting a 5 on one and 6 on the other dice = 1/18

I think this is the answer..........I hope it helps you
