just notice one thing while travelling in a train that if their wheels are round and made with very hard metal and while rolling on the railway line it makes sound but i think that if it rolls smoothly then why makes a lot of noise . Answer some of your views on this..

I think,due to heavy weight of train when it rolls on a metal track it makes noise
