About Velocity :

The distance covered by an object in a given direction, in per unit time is called Velocity of that object. We can also say that, velocity is referred as displacement which is produced by an object per unit time.

⇒ Formula for finding velocity :-

✣ Velocity = Displacement/Time taken by the object

or, v = s/t , where,

v = velocity of the object.

s = displacement of the object, and

t = time taken by the object.

\huge\bf{Extra\: Information :}ExtraInformation:

The SI unit of velocity is considered as metres per second. ( m/s or m.s^-1 )

Note = Speed and velocity, both have same SI unit.

We take the direction of velocity same as the direction of displacement of an object.

When a body a covering a specific direction in a straight line path and is travelling equal distances in equal sets of time, then the body is travelling with uniform velocity.

There are two ways by which we can change the velocity of an object : (1) By changing the speed by which the object is travelling, and (2) By changing the direction in which the object is covering the distance, but keeping the speed constant.

It is impossible for an object to have the uniform velocity zero, but the velocity of an object can said to be zero.

The SI unit of acceleration is said to be "metres per second square" or m/s² or m.s^-2.

The acceleration of an object is said to be zero if it is travelling with a uniform velocity.

Examples of some uniformly accelerated motion : (a) If a ball is rolling down from an inclined plane, then it's motion is considered as Uniformly accelerated motion. (b) If a body is falling from a height towards the earth's surface, then it's motion is uniformly accelerated motion. (c) If a cycle is coming from a hill with the effect gravitational force,. even when the cyclist is not paddling, then the motion of such cycle is uniformly accelerated motion.

Perimeter = 2πr = 2 × 227 × 7 m = 44 m;Area = πr2 = 227 × 72 m2 = 154 m2. ⟹ r = 21 cm.
