Hey There!
since LHS is under square, open the bracket and square everything individually..
so 1 would remain as 1 sin theta would become sin square theta and cos theta would become cos square theta.
Then,sin square theta can also be written as 1/cos square theta, then subract in numerator and add in denominator and simplify, you will get RHS.
