Just to be clear, sometimes cyanobacteria, which we talked about as the first photosynthetic organism, sometimes that's called blue-green algae. but that's really bacteria. algae is considered to be eukaryotic. and it just doesn't have the structures of modern plants.

in modern plant gametophyte is highly reduced
it is all bcz dur to evolution as we move to upper classe gemetophyte decreasing and sporophyte increasing
in algae sporophyte is hihly reduced
in bryophyte sporophyte is elaborate than algae
in pteredophyte sporophyte is bigger than gaemetophyte
in gymnosperm sporophyte is bigger than gametophyte
in angeosperm gametophyte is highly reduced
this all is dur to evolution
algae contains true nucleus thus eukaryotic but in morphology it is too much backward than modernplants
