The statement is true..

"Justice delayed is justice denied" is a legal maxim. It means that if legal redress or equitable relief to an injured party is available, but is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, it is effectively the same as having no remedy at all.

Answer:

It's mostly used to depict the sad state of judiciary in dealing with the plethora of pending cases before it. Because of the same, the judicial officers are handicapped and cannot vilify the masses in getting the speedy justice, which is their natural right. Since, there is delay in the disposal of cases sometimes, the victim or accused just die or drop the proceedings. While, the other times the judgment is too little, too late. Therefore, just doesn't justify the purpose for which a person chooses to knock the door of the courts. This is the reason people tend to equate the delay with denial of the justice.

Usually, the court’s heirarichal structure is mostly responsible for the jeopardy to the victim. The other reason may be the strict procedural profarma in which the court has to functions. Other minor reasons can be people not taking judiciary seriously and not appearing on said dates., lawyers conveniently using the procedural lacunae to their advantages to cull out more money from their clients, transfer if judges and so on and so forth.

With so much turbulence and disturbance at hands, even if a person gets an order in his or her favour, there would be no justice at all! Though another thought which streams out of this branch is we can not. At the same time, rush the procedures because justice haste is a justice waste’
