Club is not a commercial organisation.

To have a better understanding about if the club is a commercial organization or not it is better to know what a commercial organization is.

It is nothing but am organisation which is established for the purchase or sale of goods and services with the primary motive of having some gains or profit.

The Club though an organisation cannot be termed as a commercial one due to the below two reasons :

  • Club is a sort of an organization where people gather or unite for a common purpose, they are usually made a nobel and social cause rather for the motive of earning a profit.
  • There are different types of clubs for different hobies where people cater to their interest without any financial funding while organisations established through the funding of various institutes and venture capitals.

The Club is a commercial organization

  • Clubs cannot be termed as a commercial organization because their motive is not to have gain or profit, a club is built for mainly entertainment or relaxation purposes.
  • Commercial organizations are those organizations that are built, keeping in mind their main motto and for undertaking sales of goods and services.
  • But a club does not do this thing due to which it cannot be called a commercial organization.
