  • Justify whether the given sequence is an A.P. or not.

The given sequence is an A.P. only if the common difference is same.

Given sequence,

-12 -5 2 9....

d1= -5 -(-12)=7

d2=2-(-5)=7

d3=9-2=7

Therefore, the common difference is same always.

So, the given sequence is an A.P.
