Democracy is better than other forms of govt because the main aim in democratic country is conducting elections in free and fare manner without any form of discrimination on any caste or creed and democratic country has many ideas like freedom of speech, sovereignty, fraternity, and judiciary which upholds basic rights of every citizen. and the main objective is making decisions by negotiations and deliberations..

and other form of govts like authoritarianism , monarch , communism, military,and other forms doesn't hold the following ideas which democratic government do .. Other forms of govt or monarchy make decisions unilaterally without public opinion.and people doesn't have freedom of speech and expression..
