Commerce is a wider term than Trade

Commerce has a wider domain and there is a number of other aspects which come under it. Trading involves the ‘exchange of goods’ in return for money. Commerce has a much wider scope and it helps in facilitating the exchange of ‘goods and services’.

Commerce also involves the various aspects of transportation, warehousing, advertising, purchasing, and more activities. Trading only involves the exchange of goods between one or more number of individuals, or groups. It is done in exchange for money or other forms of monetary transactions.
