1. a.The crows are omnivores because they are eat both plant products and animals. Explanation: It is a bird that mostly feeds on animal food whereas sometimes it also feeds on plant products such as fruits and seeds.
b.The similar aspect in mode of nutrition in Amoeba and in human beings is similar as both are heterotrophs. Heterotrophs are the organisms that depend on other organisms for their nutrition. And this mode of nutrition is heterotrophic nutrition.
2. a.Ingestion of food is difficult without teeth because we can't digest the complex particles of food ,which can cause indigestion. Teeth help in chewing the food and masticating it properly hence , making it easier to digest .
b.Bread is a type of starch that is made up of glucose molecules and glucose is, again, a form of sugar. If you chew on a piece of bread for a while, it will begin to taste sweet because the enzymes in saliva are already beginning to break down the starch into glucose.
