Friction is the opposing force caused by any rough surface.
✻Why Friction is a necessary evil✻
Friction is necessary for our various daily activities like walking , playing and various activities. We probably can not imagine our life without friction.
At the same time, there are many disadvantages of friction.For example, heating of industrial equipment (Which may cause energy loss).
Thus, friction is necessary as well as has disadvantages.Thus, we can say that friction is a necessary evil.
✻Methods to reduce friction✻
(i) Using lubricants like oil,grease etc
(ii) By using ball bearing (As sliding friction is more that rolling friction.
