Justify the statement pesticides are helpful and at the same time harmful to the ecosystem

Pesticides are helpful for eradicating pest from crops it is a blessing of chemicals but at the same time excessive use of pesticides will lead to infertility of soil,water pollution,soil pollution and even diseases as humans are getting food which is sprayed with chemicals which on consumption is harmful. So pesticides are both blessing and curse.

pesticides are chemicals that kill the pests and protect the plant or the crop. Thus the are helpful for farmers to save their crops to be eaten up by pest and get destroyed.
At the same time they reduce soil fertility because they also cause harm to the helpful micro organisms that help restore soil fertility.
More over they mix with water and pollute it as they are chemicals.
