First of all, construct to lines AB and CD intersecting as point O. [ X }
when to lines AB and CD intersects at O they form 4 angles.
so name that angles ; AOC as Angle1
COB as Angle 2
COD as Angle 3
∴ Ang.1 + Ang.2 = 180 [∵Linear pairs on line AB } (i)
∴ Ang.2 + Ang.3 = 180 { ∵Linear pairs on line CD ] (ii)
∴ From i and ii
Ang.1 + Ang.2 = Ang.2 + Ang,3 = 180
( Ang.2s will get cancelled )
Ang.1 = Ang.3
same thing ill b applied to prove another vertically opposite angles...
