Justify the statement with suitable example that "Nationalism aligned with imperialism, led Europe to disaster in 1914". explain

There was a heated rivalry between the European powers before World War I.  They fighted with each other to gain colonies, capture their navy and army which was a sign of destructive imperialism.   Countries which were colonised were managed in a wrong way created discontent amongst the European powers and led to World War I.
