He braved the storm and painted a leaf on the wall to make her believe that the leaf is fighting and is still intact so she had to keep fighting too. So the title is absolutely correct

there was two fresher's Sue and jhonsy. They were painters. Jhonsy was so I'll she always sees out of the window and says when all leafs of that tree will fall I will also die. Sue was doing very hard work so that she can buy medicines for jhonsy. the doctor had said "if she doesn't want to live, even medicines can't make her health better". one of his neighbour those name was behrman. he doesn't do painting he being model for other painters. Sue was making painting of behrman for her magazine in between behrman asks Sue about jhonsies condition sue tells him everything behrman says if you need my help please tell me. behrman was thinking about jhonsy that there must be a thing I can do for jhonsy. on that night there was heavy rainfall and thunder. sue was very afraid she was thinking ' if all leafs will fall what will happen? ' next day when rainfall stops open curtains and they see there was one leaf left. sue was so happy she says to Jhonsy " look there was heavy rainfall and thunder last night but the leaf didn't fall. if the leaf can survive then why you can't ". after hearing all this jhonsy says " you are right sue, I can live". when Dr visits he says ' her health is so improved ' the doctor was leaving then he remember something and he says " sue, some people found behrman lying on the floor with paint in his hand" sue get shocked and says how is he now ? doctor says he was suffering from pneumonia because he spent his night in rain, because of pneumonia he is no more sue starts crying. after sometime she realise that, it was not real life it was a masterpiece of behrman which saved jhonsies life.
