Answer:

Explanation:The story 'The Address' is about an address that the author had been given by her deceased mother to go to and reclaim her belongings. The address Mrs Dorling, 46, Marconi Street is the nucleus of the story around which the entire plot develops. The author goes there; but she is not entertained encouragingly; she goes back; and again comes back to the same address. So the title is quite appropriately justified

Answer:

In this story author’s mother gave an address to her to reclaim her belonging because both author and her mother was the victim of the war. The narrator went to her mother’s native which was in Holland and the address she gave was the 46th house number in Macroni Street. The narrator reached on a particular address but she came back as the woman who opened the door didn’t recognize her and closed the gate. But narrator again went to the same address.

So the given title is justified.
