The story is based on human relationship, how important it is to nurture and retain the tender love that we have in our heart for our blood relations. Tribute means something said or done as a mark of veneration and admiration for a person whom one considers much more superior than himself. It is a tribute paid by Babuli to his elder brother for all that he had done for him. After the partition Babuli realized the position in which his elder brother was with seven children take care of .His act of gifting his share of the land to his elder brother is his way of thanking him for helpinghim to achieve a position in life He knew very well thathe could not repay him all that he had done but as a token of his gratitudegave up his land as a tribute.
