Justify the title of the story 'Hearts and Hands'.

Answer: The story hearts and hand was beautifully written by the writer O henry. He is a very good writer. “HEARTS AND HANDS” described the story of two men who are handcuffed with each other and make fool the girl to escape some awkward situation.
The story begins in the train when young women meet 2 hand cuffed man and one of them is his old friend and he was prisoner and going to the jail and other was the marshal who was taking the prisoner to the jail.
Young lady was felt in love with the prisoner and both men show her that the prisoner is marshal and marshal is prisoner.
After some time they left the room to avoid awkward situation.
We see the irony of the situation when two hearts are getting close to each other but the hand not allowing then to become closer.
So the title is appropriate.
