he was blind in his greed..when ever he saw something he ran behind it.. one day he was holding a roti in his moith and looked in water he saw himself but he thought that there was anotger dog holding a roti.. he opened his mouth to take roti from another dog so his roti also got fell in the water and afterwards he realizes that in the water it was it himself..
