It is a story by Arthur Clarke where small Canary named Claribel helps to save the life on space station. In the space station one day Sven found that Claribel was missing because Claribel wakes up Sven every day. Narrator found Claribel in a stunned state because of lack of oxygen. Claribel was given an oxygen mask and finally she woke up. Claribel passed out because of the bad air in the station due to the technical issue in the air purifier. Her existence saved many lives on the space station because they were aware about the bad quality of the air.
Half a million worth dollars of chemical and electronic engineering had let them down completely. But Claribel helped them to recognize about the bad air. Thus she is a good friend. Without Claribel, the should soon have been slightly dead.
