Here is your answer

(1) 2n - 3

An = 2n-3
a1 =2×1-3 = -1

a2 = 2×2-3 = 1

a3 = 2×3-3 = 3
a4 = 2×4-3 = 5

-1,1,3,5 is not an ap.

(2) n²+1

an=n²+1
a1 = (1)²+1 = 2
a2 = (2)²+1 = 5
a3 = (3)²+1 = 10

2,5,10 is not an ap

so,

it False to say that the following are the nth term of an ap.

Hope it helps you ^_^
