Developmental goals are learning-oriented. They spell out the skills, knowledge and experiences the employee needs to either remain effective in his/her current job or support the employee's ability to take on new responsibilities and grow in his/her career.

Specifically, some suggest that when people have two conflicting goals that they are grappling with, that makes them likely to think carefully about choices in order to resolve the conflict.

So anyone should always prefer developmental goals rather than conflicting goals..
They are very effective to our life so one should think deeply while choosing the correct path......
I prefer the developmental goals...If it is chosen then there won't be any conflict which has to be resolved....

Thus so
1 - its means that people have different goals for the development .
Eg - one person want to become doctor
. - one person wants to become enginer .

2 - it means that the developmental goals are conflicting for each other .
Eg - as one wants to build a dam but its disadvantages are also there . That brings conflict .

Mark as brainliest if helpful .
