- Mass first body (M1) = 2 kg
- Kinetic energy of first body (K.E1) = 8 J
- Mass of Second body (M2) = 4 kg
To FinD :
- Kinetic Energy of 2nd body
SolutioN :
We are given that both the bodies are moving with same velocities,
For 1st Body :
⇒K.E1 = ½M1V²
⇒8 = ½ * 2 * V²
⇒8 = V²
⇒V² = 8
⇒V = √8
⇒V = 2√2
∴ Velocity of bodies is 2√2 m/s.

Now, Kinetic Energy of 2nd Body :
⇒K.E2 = ½M2V²
⇒K.E2 = ½ * 4 * (2√2)²
⇒K.E2 = 2 * 8
⇒K.E2 = 16
∴ Kinetic Energy of 2nd body is 16 J.
