“Roll a Story” uses oral language, creative writing, and improvisation all rolled into one activity.

With every roll, students will discover the impact each element plays in the overall storyline. Youth will master the elements of storytelling while simultaneously

brushing up on their creative writing skills.

If your child cannot read, read the text aloud to them. Ask them the questions and have them respond and/ or solve on a separate sheet of paper. If your child can read, simply give them the second page of this handout and have them read the text aloud or in their head.
