Diamagnetic substances

• Are strongly attracted by the external magnetic field because all the domains get oriented in direction of magnetic field.
• Behave as permanent magnets.

Antiferromagnetic substances

• Have zero net magnetic moment.
• Example - $MnO_{2}$

Ferrimagnetic substances

• The magnetic moment of most of the domains are aligned in antiparallel directions so net magnetic moment exists but small.
