So, the winner candidate got = (x*58/100) votes

                                                = 58x/100 votes

                                              = {(100x-58x)/100}  vptes

So, the winner candidate had won by = {(58x/100) - (42x/100)} votes

                                                              = {(58x - 42x)/100} votes
