The relationship between the resistance of a wire and its length can be found from below equation;
R = p x L / A;
Where
R = resistance of the wire
r = resistivity of the wire
A = area of cross-section of the wire
L = length of the wire
Here we can see that resistance is directly proportional to length of the resistor. Hence when we increase the length of wire, its resistance will also increase keeping other factors constant.
