No fertilization will occur if pistil is removed from the flower.

Explaination:

1. To understand it, first we have to understand what actually pistil is. Pistil is the female reproductive part of the flower which has three parts. These are: stigma, style and ovary.

2. The function of the stigma is to receive the pollen as it has the capability to recognise pollen. Thus, we can say that stigma is the landing place of the pollen.

3. Style connects the stigma with the ovary. Ovary contains the egg which when comes in contact with the male gamete fertilises to form an embryo.

4. Thus, it the pistil is removed, there will be no any landing portion and egg or the place to fertilise with the egg and thus no pollination will occur which in turn will result in no fertilisation.
