क्या कारण है कि कभी पृथ्वी सूर्य के नजदीक तो कभी सूर्य से दूर होती है ? ऐसा किस कारण होता है ?

because path of Revolution of earth around the sun is Elliptical .....thats why sometimes it is closer to the sun and sometimes it is far away
