So,
Selling price after 15% discount = x - 15% of x =
x - 15x/100 = x - 3x/20 = 20x-3x/20 = 17x/20
Selling price after second discount of 10% =
17x/20 − 10%*17x/20
17x/20 − 10*17 x20/100 = 5760
17x/20 − 17x/200 = 5760
170x − 17 x /200 = 5760
153 x /200 = 5760
x = 5760 × 200/153
x =1152000/153
x =7529.41
Marked price of washing machine = Rs .7529.41
So,
