Kaif is twice as old as sabiha

x = 2y...[1]

Five years ago s age kaif  was three times sabihas age.

lets form an euqation

5 - x = 3[5 - y] 

now lets put [1] in [2]

since 
5 - x = 3[5 - y]   and  x = 2y


5 - x = 3[5 - y] 


5 - 2y = 3[5 - y] 

5 - 2y = 15 - y

-2y + y = 15 - 5

y = 10

since x = 2y

=>2 * 10

=>20

hecne kaif is 20 and saif is 10
