Answer:

CP OF THE CYCLE=₹2650

COST OF REPAIR=₹350

TOTAL CP=₹(2650+350)

=₹3000

LOSS=15%

SP=. CP*(100-LOSS%/100)

3000*(100-15/100)

3000*85/100

=₹30*85

=₹ 2550

AnswEr :

Rs.2550.

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{Given\::}}}}}

Kajal bought a cycle for Rs.2650 and she spent Rs.350 on it's repair. She sold it at a loss of 15%.

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{To\:find\::}}}}}

She sold the cycle.

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{Explanation\::}}}}}

\bf{We\:have}\begin{cases}\sf{The\:cost\:price\:of\:cycle\:(C.P.)=Rs.2650}\\ \sf{Spent\:=\:Rs.350}\\ \sf{Loss\%=15\%}\end{cases}}

\bf{\green{\underline{\underline{\tt{A.T.Q\::}}}}}

We have total cost price (C.P.) = Rs.2650 + Rs.350 = Rs.3000.

Formula use :

\bf{\small{\boxed{\bf{Selling\:price\:(S.P.)=\frac{100-loss\%}{100}\times C.P.}}}}}

\mapsto\tt{S.P.=\dfrac{100-15}{100} \times 3000}\\\\\\\\\mapsto\tt{S.P.=\dfrac{85}{\cancel{100}} \times 30\cancel{00}}\\\\\\\\\mapsto\tt{S.P.=Rs.(85\times 30)}\\\\\\\\\mapsto\tt{\red{S.P.=Rs.2550}}

Thus,

\underbrace{\sf{She\:sold\:the\:cycle\:for\:Rs.2550.}}}}
