Hi friend,

Let bakshi scored X marks.

Then Mark's scored by Kaku will be (X-7) .

And,

Mark's scored by Raman = (X-7+3) = (X-4) Mark's.

According to question,

(X) + (X-7) + (X-4) = 76

X+X-7+X-4 = 76

3X-11 = 76

3X = 76+11

3X = 87

X = 87/3

X = 29

Therefore,

Mark's scored by bakshi = X = 29

Mark's scored by Kaku = X-7 = 29-7 = 22

And,

Mark's scored by Raman = (X-4) = 29-4 = 25

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)

Let Bakshi's marks be x

⇒ Bakshi = x

Kaku scored 7 marks less than Bakshi

⇒Kaku = x - 7

Raman scored 3 marks more than Kaku

⇒ Raman = x - 7 + 3 = x - 4

Form equation and solve for x:

Their total marks is 76

x + ( x - 7 ) + (x - 4) = 76

x + x - 7 + x - 4 = 76

3x - 11 = 76

3x = 87

x = 29

Find the marks Raman got:

Raman = x - 4 = 29 - 4 = 25

Answer: Raman got 25 marks
