Step-by-step explanation:

volume of the pit =( 16×12×40)m³

100cm=1m

50cm=0.5m

20cm=0.2m

volume of 1 plank = (4×0.5×0.2)m³

no.of planks that can be stored=

volume of pit ÷ volume of 1 plank

= 16×12×40

________

4 ×0.5×0.2

=19200

Añńeyong...!

Here ,

Dimension of plank are -

Length - 4m = 400cm

Breadth - 50 cm

Height - 20 cm

Volume of the plank = L×B×H

= 400 cm × 50 cm × 20 cm

= 400000cm^3

Now ,

Dimension of the pit --

Length - 16m= 1600cm

Breadth - 12m = 1200cm

Height - 40m = 4000cm

Volume of the pit = L×B×H

= 1600cm×1200cm×4000cm

= 768000000cm^3

No. of planks that can be fitted = 768000000cm^3 / 400000cm^3

= 1920 planks .

Hope you get it...✔✔
